UPS Oath only shows No Shipping Method Found

I must be missing something. I created the app on the UPS developers site copied the Client ID, Secret and Account number. Removed all restrictions except the zone and yet I still can't get UPS to return a rate. Only Shipping Method Not Found.
What else could I be missing?

Hi,

You need to set weight and dimensions in your products, and provide a shipping address during the checkout for the shipping method to be able to retrieve the rates.
Also, you can activate its "debug" setting and then try again. And then, you can look at the "payment log file" setting of the HikaShop configuration. It should contain debug information about the issue at the bottom.

The error I'm getting is: An error occurred. The connection to the UPS server could not be established. 250002 Invalid Authentication Information.
I have confirmed all the credentials. I have confirmed that the product added to the cart had dimensions and weight. Confirmed shipping address. Still no luck

Any ideas?

Hi,

Make sure you don't have extra spaces before or after the credentials.
Also, make sure the environment you select in the settings of the shipping method correspond to the credentials.
Using production credentials with the Customer Integration Environment won't work, and vice versa.

Hi,

Then you need to contact the UPS support. If their server is responding with the "250002 Invalid Authentication Information", it means that there is a problem with the credentials or the UPS account. Maybe something needs to be activated in it. Either way, we can't help you on that, only UPS can.

Where can I see what their server is responding?

UPS has asked for the following information. Can you provide that to me or tell me where I can locate it?

Hi,

1. The UPS OAuth plugin uses the OAuth and Rating APIs of UPS as per :
developer.ups.com/tag/OAuth-Client-Credentials?loc=en_US
developer.ups.com/tag/Rating?loc=en_US#section/Reference

2. The URLs used are, for the Rating API:
- For production: onlinetools.ups.com/api/rating/v2205/Sho...alinfo=timeintransit
- For Customer integration environment: wwwcie.ups.com/api/rating/v2205/Shop?add...alinfo=timeintransit
And for the OAuth API:
- For production: onlinetools.ups.com/security/v1/oauth/token
- For Customer integration environment: wwwcie.ups.com/security/v1/oauth/token

3. If you activate the "debug" setting of the shipping method and then try again to do some tests and get the error, you'll get debug information available in the "payment log file" of the HikaShop configuration page. That's what you want to send to them.
