-- HikaShop version -- : 3.1.1
-- Joomla version -- : 3.7.5
-- PHP version -- : 7.0
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : Chrome 60.0.3112.113

I have tried every setup i can see and just not having any luck with tax.

created a tax zone call "Hawaii Tax Zone" in the sub zones i added Hawaii (state)

in taxes i created a tax category call Hawaii tax taxation category as parent
created a tax rate called Hawaii Tax @ 4.712%

When i have it set as the main tax zone it works but shows taxes all the time. when i change tax zones to another zone i created called internet @ % it doesn't work. I've created a user with 2 addresses one for NH and Another for HI. When i have the hawaii as the shop default tax rate and click on the nh address (it doesn't up date the price unless i refresh) it will remove the tax. same goes for changing back to HI tax (again doesn't do it on the ajax update only if i refresh the screen)

I'm sure i'm missing something simple.

The tax rate is set to look at the Shipping Address in the config file. i even tried the restriction page having all the zip codes for HI in the box.

I can setup accesses etc if need be

Hi,

Please update to HikaShop 3.2.0.
We've added several fixes to the new checkout of HikaShop 3 in order to better handle the ajax refresh when taxes of prices change due to an address change of the user.

Hi,

I tried to reproduced the problem on your website, but I never get the tax applied. Please provide precise instructions to reproduce the issue with the screenshot of your current tax rule settings so that we can have a clear picture of the situation.
Because in your screenshots I see different versions of the tax rules listing, some with post code restrictions, some without so I'm not sure what you have.
Also, I see that you have two hawaii states in the states dropdown. So I'm not sure which one is which. I tried both but didn't get taxes with any... even after a full refresh of the page.
So for now it looks like a tax rules setup issue, not a refresh bug.

removed the 2nd Hawaii (don't really know when that got in there). not using zipcodes was just showing i've tried both ways.

same setup as above
product tax category= Hawaii Tax
Rate Hawaii Tax (4.712%)
Post Code= Empty
Zone= Hawaii Tax Zone
Customer Type = All customers
Internal Code= HI
Access Level Is All and published is yes

in zones when i go to the "Hawaii Tax Zone"
Name Hawaii Tax Zone
name in english Hawaii Tax Zone
code 2 letter HI
Type Tax Zones
Published Yes
Currency USD
Subzones
Hawaii type state ID 4571

Rate
Hawaii Tax
Tax Namekey Hawaii Tax
Rate 4.712

The other rate that i have is called internet at 0% so the prices don't try and show tax only when you have a hawaii shipping address should it change to tax.

Hello,

I just had a look on your website, and I get the root issue :
=> In 2 point your configurations are contradictory, see by yourself :

1°) Plugin: manual (Handling Charge)

The way you configure the "override shipping address" option will erase the customer shipping address for your shop address

2°) Main HikaSHop configuration
Here, your Configuration for the "Type of address used for tax" option was Shipping

So maybe you have already understand why I switched this option for Billing, and so I succeed to have this :

Now you have to choose between these 2 settings in order to make your Taxes correctly work.

Regards
