Names of persons who buying an event

Hi,
i created an event and you can enter up to max 4 persons to this event-product.
Now i am looking for a possibility to enter the (max 4 names of the persons who will come to this event.

is this possible ?

Hi,

You can create custom fields of the table "item" and of the type "text" via the menu Display>Custom fields.
That way, the customers can fill the custom fields before adding the product to the cart.

i think i understand.
BUT... do all the products you sell get these fields to fill in.

So should i not connect these custom-fields to this specific product (event)

Hi,

It depends. In the settings of the custom field, you can restrict it to specific products, or specific categories, and in that case, the custom field will only appear for these products / products in these categories.

i created an item and restricted it to one event_article.
But nothing happens in the frontend.

in the attachment the setting of the item.
What did i do wrong

Hi,

You have the "frontend" display setting turned off. So it's normal that the custom field doesn't appear on the frontend.

Hi,

The article plugin doesn't support the display of custom fields.
You would have to include the whole product page in your Joomla article with something like that instead in that case:
www.regularlabs.com/extensions/componentsanywhere
