This plugin integrates with Google Analytics 4
It also has an ecommerce section allowing you to do more than just track the pages visited, but also the sales, the path of your users leading to a sale, the products and categories most visited, etc. It's a great tool to optimize your online shop.

Installation

1) Download the plugin on our website with the link on the right side of this page.
2) Install the plugin on your Joomla website (extension manager)
3) Enable the plugin and configure its settings with the information provided by Google Analytics (API Secret and Measurement ID).
Note that you can turn on the inline instructions on the settings page of the plugin with the corresponding button on the top right of the page. It contains information on how to get the API Secret and Measurement ID from your GA account.

The GA plugin now has an extra setting to be able to deactivate the JS purchase event so that it is only handled with the measurement protocol, in order to avoid counting twice the purchases.
The plugin now passes the session_id to GA when firing the purchase event via the measurement protocol in order to allow for better tracking.
