Description

This screen enables you to edit the payment method options. Payment methods will be filtered on checkout based on the zone you set for them, if any. Then, they will be displayed to the user for him to choose which payment method he prefers for his order.

Note that the payment method can probably support only a limited number of currencies.

 

Toolbar

 

  • Save & Close : Save the payment method options and return to the payment methods Management screen.
  • Save : Apply the modifications to the payment method and stay on the same screen.
  • Cancel : Return to the previous screen without saving the modifications.
  • Help : This button enables you to turn ON/OFF the help section, this screen will appear or disappear.

 

Main Information

If you use one of our commercial versions, you will be able to enter the name and description in different languages. This feature requires to have joomfish installed and can be activated in the configuration page, in the display tab. The languages available will be the ones in joomfish. If you don't enter something for a translation, it will just use the default information in the Main information tab instead. After you click on save or apply an additional publish icon will appear next to the fields where you entered something in the languages tabs so that you can easily enable or disable them.

 

Generic information

 

  • Published : This option allows you to publish or not the payment method.
  • Images : Select here the desired images to be displayed for this payment method. If you want to add additional images, you can upload them via FTP into the folder media/com_hikashop/images/payment/ of your website and you will then be able to select them in that option.
  • Price : You can set the payment fee in this field, and select the currency of the fee.
  • Percentage : The percentage allows you to define a payment fee depending on the total amount of the products in the cart.

  • Tax category : Select among your tax category, the category you want apply on your payment method cost.

In this part, we will see the primordial options of the Amazon Checkout payment method. The only values required for plugin processing are your Merchant Id, your AWS Access Key ID, and your Secret Access Key.

  • Note : All these references are defined by Amazon and can be retrieved in your amazon seller merchant account, here : www.sellercentral.amazon.com.


    WARNING : All these references must be kept SECRET.



  • Here, you just have to fill each input field with the corresponding value.

Modes part :


Now, a little explanation about the different options which are proposed by your Amazon Checkout Plugin, in order to help you to configure your payment process:



  • Display Express Checkout button on checkout view : Choose if you want to display the Amazon button on the checkout page, more precisely in the cart view.



  • Display Express Checkout button on cart view  : Same idea than previous but for the HikaShop Cart Module.



    Note : You must have configured your cart module via the Joomla modules manager.


  • Order status upon ready to ship notification : Here, you can select the status that will be set for an order if the plugin receives a "ready to ship notification" from Amazon Checkout for it.

  • Debug : You can enable here the debug option of the your plugin. This option will allow your plugin to fill the log with information about payment processing.


    NOTE : You can learn more about the payment log file here.



Communication part :


These different options define how will work your plugin and manage exchange with Amazon servers.


  • Environment : The aim here is to define if you want to process some tests (on Environment) with no money in order to check that everything is in place, before switching to production phase (on Production).

  • Invalid status  : Here, you can select the status to set the order if the plugin receives a invalid completion notification from Amazon Checkout for it. cart.

  • Verified status  : Like, for "invalid status" you can select the status to set the order if the plugin receives a valid order completion notification from Amazon Checkout.

  • Return url : Nothing to set here, but this data will be useful for configure your Checkout Pipeline Settings in your Amazon seller central account.

    Just copy and paste this URL in your Merchant URL input.

All these options enable you to define your Amazon button through 3 criteria: "Size", "Color" and "Background".

Restrictions

  • Zone : You can restrict the check payment method to a zone. By clicking on the edit icon, a popup will open enabling you to select a zone. You can also remove this limitation by clicking on the delete icon.
  • Shipping method : With this option you can select the shipping method for which this payment method will be available. For example, if you choose UPS, this payment method will only be usable if UPS is selected as shipping method. If an other shipping method is selected, this payment method will not be displayed. Note: if you selected "None" or don't select any shipping method, this payment method will always be available.
  • Currency: Choose the currencies allowed by this payment method.
  • Minimum price : The payment method can be available for only orders above a minimum price. This price uses the payment method price currency even if the price is 0.
  • Maximum price : The payment method can be available for only orders below a maximum price. This price uses the payment method price currency even if the price is 0.
  • With tax : Display the payment method only for products with tax.
  • Minimum quantity : If the order has a price lower than the price set in this field, so this payment method will not be available.
  • Maximum quantity : If the order has a price upper than the price set in this field, so this payment method will not be available.
  • Minimum weight : You can set a minimum weight so that orders below it won't be able to be paid with the current payment method. The weight of the order will be calculated based on the weight of each products in it.
  • Maximum weight : You can set a maximum weight so that orders over it won't be able to be paid with the current payment method. The weight of the order will be calculated based on the weight of each products in it.
  • Minimum volume : You can set a minimum volume so that orders below it won't be able to be paid with the current payment method. The volume of the order will be calculated based on the volume of each products in it. The volume is calculated with the width, height and length of the products.
  • Maximum volume : If the order has a volume upper than the price set in this field, so this payment method will not be available.
  • Prefix : You can restrict your payment methods to only post codes including such prefix with this option.
  • Minimum post code : You can restrict your payment methods to only post codes within a certain range whereby this is the minimum possible value
  • Maximum post code : You can restrict your payment methods to only post codes within a certain range whereby this is the maximum possible value
  • Suffix : You can restrict your payment methods to only post codes including such suffix with this option.

 

Access level

Plugins Columns

The ACLs are available in the business edition of HikaShop.  

  • None : When "none" is selected, the payment method will never be displayed.
  • All : "All" allow you to display the payment method for all the type of users. All groups are allowed to pay via this payment method.
  • Custom : Here you can select which groups can use this payment method. All the checked groups will be able to use this method.

Note about Access level :

  • Access level : With the business edition of HikaShop, you will be able to limit a coupon or a discount to specific users.

FAQ

I don't see any payment methods during the checkout, or I don't see some of them, what is the problem ?

There are several things which you could have missed.

  • 1/ Check that the payments plugins are installed and published
  • 2/ Check that you have configured your payment plugins (edit it and save its configuration)
  • 3/ Check that your template is able to display error messages: hikashop.com/documentation
  • 4/ Check that you have the payment view in the checkout workflow option of the configuration
  • 5/ If you restricted your payment methods to zones, check that the address you're using is inside those zones ! Otherwise the payment methods will be filtered out.
  • 6/ Check that the currency you're using is supported by the payment plugins you're using. Some payment plugins only supports a limited number of currencies. You should check that with the support of the payment gateways you're using.
  • 7/ Please make sure that you didn't change the currency code of your currency. Otherwise, the payment plugins won't recognize your currency. If you want to change the display of your currency, we invite you to use the "format" option on the right of the currency options screen as well as the symbol field.
  • 8/ When you select a currency or a shipping method in the options of the payment method, the payment method won't display unless that currency or shipping method is selected during the checkout. In most cases, these parameters shouldn't be selected so make sure they are unselected. To unselect them, you need to press the ctrl key and click on the selected currencies or shipping methods. Also remember if you selected one or several shipping methods here, when you add a new shipping method later on, you will want to go in the payment plugins options and select that new shipping method or it won't display any payment method for that new shipping method.
  • 9/ Please check that you didn't set the access option of the plugin (via the plugins manager of Joomla) to something else than public.
  • 10/ It can happen that the plugin's access is not set properly in the database. Please go in the Joomla plugins manager and edit the plugin and save it. That will sett the access if not present and might help solve your problem.

Additional Information

The plugin is only available in our commercial editions.
It requires that you first configure the HikaShop points or install a point extension ; the plugin is compatible with the systems :

That specific plugin allow you use points in order to have a discount on pay completely an order.
It is also possible to customer to earn points ; but that feature is provided by the other User Points plugin which is a classical plugin and not a payment one.

  • Points mode: Select the point methods you want to use for that method.
  • Rates: You can define here the monetary value of a point. When a customer will pay, each point will allow him to pay the defined value.
  • Product tax category: Indicate the tax applied on the generated discount.
  • Group points by: With that option, you can force users to only be able to use their points by packs of X points.
  • Maximum points: When you want to limit the maximum number of points users can use, enter the value here.
  • Points rounding: By default the system will use integer values but you can specify a number of decimal you want for the processing points.
  • Shipping: Allow or not the shipping fees payment with points. In this case, the shipping fees will be payed with another payment method and a coupon will be generated for the points.
  • Partial payment: Allow or not the partial payment of an order. If the partial payment is active, you are able to set a Maximum percentage of the order payable with points. When a partial payment is made, a coupon is generated for the order and the user will have to pay with another payment method the remaining amount.
  • Minimum percentage: Define the minimum percentage of the order which have to be paid with points.
  • Minimum value: Define the minimum amount of an order which have to be reached to pay with points.
  • Give back points on cancel: You can choose here whether to give back or not the points which have been used to pay an order when the order is cancelled. (Note: when an order is cancelled, points which have been earned by the user are ALWAYS deleted).
  • Use virtual coupons: When that option is activated, instead of using an auto generated coupon during the checkout in order to use the points, the points will be added as an additional line before the final total. That means that users can use at the same time points and a coupon.
  • Group points: Warning level: This option is used when the "Group points by" option is set. It allows you to display a message to the user when he doesn't have enough points to use his points because it didn't reach the minimum required points based on that "Group points by" option.
  • Verified status : Here, you can select the status to set to an order if the plugin process the order completely through the checkout.

Additional Information

 

  • In this part, we will see the main options of the Atos Sips v2 payment method. The only things you will need are your "Merchant ID", your "Secret Key" and the "key Version".
  • Merchant ID : Just put your Merchant ID that you got from Atos Sips, this ID allow you to be recognize by the Atos Sips pay gateway.
  • Secret Key  : Same idea than above the Secret Key that you got from Atos Sips, allow to encode your transaction between your e-commerce and the Atos Sips pay gateway.
  • key Version : You must define the key version used with your secret key, this is provide by Atos Sips.

 

CAUTION : This references must be keep secret !



The different options:

 

  • Bank : Here, you have to select from which bank depends your merchant account. If you don't know select the default value.
  • allow notification from atos sips : This trigger allow your e-commerce to receive notifications from Atos Sips, for validate or not your transactions by example.
  • Test Mode : Before switching to the production phase, you should be able to make test payments with Atos Sips Sandbox. The capture will not be done the Atos Sips will provide you some Merchant ID, Secret Key and key Version for this. So enter this and run a test for proving you that everything works ok and if the payment is accepted, your order will take the specified verified status automatically (you need to have your website online for that as Atos Sips needs to notify it of the payment). 

  • Debug : Here, you can set the debug mode, which means that each payment or test will add information in the payment log file in order to help you see sent and received data in the Files section of the configuration page of HikaShop.
  • Invalid Status : The aim of this option is to choose which status will be set for an invalid payment notification from the svea Webpay platform.
  • Pending Status : Here, define which status will be set for an pending status from Atos Sips.
  • Verified Status : Same idea than above, but for a verified payment notification from the Atos Sips platform.

Step by step configuration

  • You have to enter your Merchant ID, Secret Key and your key Version in your Atos Sips Specific Configuration.
  • Choose to switch on the test mode OR not and so go to "production phase".
  • Once your plugin is configured properly, you will probably want to try it. Before switching to the production phase ("Test Mode: Off"), you should be able to make test payments so that the capture will not be done and if you reach the "thank you for your purchase" page, that prove you that everything works ok. Then, if the payment is accepted, your order will take the specified verified status automatically (you need to have your website online for that as Atos Sips needs to notify it of the payment). 

 

At the end of the Hikashop Checkout with Atos Sips, customers will be redirect on the Atos Sips platform payment page: 



 

This page invites the customer to fill Credit Card references to pay, and then will arrive, if everything is alright, to the confirmation page with the continu button to go back to your e-commerce website.



 

The customer will see the thank you page if the order had reach the confirmed status.

  • Images : Select here the desired images to be displayed for this payment method. If you want to add additional images, you can upload them via FTP into the folder media/com_hikashop/images/payment/ of your website and you will then be able to select them in that option.
  • Price : You can set the payment fee in this field, and select the currency of the fee.
  • Percentage : The percentage allows you to define a payment fee depending on the total amount of the products in the cart.

  • Tax category : Select among your tax category, the category you want apply on your payment method cost.

 

Install the plugin

You can download the plugin here : Download Svea Webpay Plugin

 

Then, install it via the Joomla installer.

Finally, go in the menu System>Payment methods of HikaShop, click on the "new" button and select the Svea webpay payment plugin and configure it as you need it.

Additional Information

 

NOTE : The Svea Webpay plugin works with 4 different payment modes, Invoice, Payment Plan, Card Payment and Direct Bank. Please also note that for now, the Invoice and Payment modes will only work for Swedish customers so you'll want to use the "zone" restriction setting in order to restrict the payment method to Sweden.

 

 

All required references in order to configure your plugin will be given to you on your Svea Webpay account settings page.

Note : If you have to use several of these 4 modes, you have will have to create several instances of that payment plugin and in each one, you'll need to fill in the identification information relative to that payment mode. Some could be different and some are identical from each mode, so beware which references are required.

 

Required For Invoice and Payment Plan

 

The Invoice and Payment Plan Modes require you to fill the same inputs : "Username" and "Password", BUT, the "client ID" is different.

 

In red, it requires the same value, and in green, different values.

 

 

  • USERNAME : Same Value for both modes.
  • PASSWORD : Same Value for both modes.
  • CLIENT ID : Differents !

 

Required For Direct Bank and Card Payment.

 

The Direct Bank and Card Payment Modes require you to fill the same inputs : "Merchant ID" and "Secret Key".

 

 

  • Merchant ID : Same Value for both modes.
  • Secret Key : Same Value for both modes.



The different options:

 

All these options are common to All modes.

 

 

  • Test Mode : You can choose here to switch between test mode (without real transactions) and production mode.
  • Debug : Here, you can set the debug mode, which means that each payment or test will add information in the payment log file in order to help you see sent and received data in the Files section of the configuration page of HikaShop.
  • Invalid Status : The aim of this option is to choose which status will be set for an invalid payment notification from the svea Webpay platform.
  • Verified Status : Same idea than above, but for a verified payment notification from the Svea Webpay platform. 

Help : If you don't know anything about the payment log, go here.

Note : In Test Mode, your products must cost at least 1000 SEK in order to test the Svea Webpay platform.

 

Step by step configuration

 

Note : We will just take for example the Invoice mode.

 

First, select your mode in the Payment Method dropbox.

 

 

Then, fill the required identification fields for the selected Payment Method (here : Invoice), and if it's the first time, we recommend the Test Mode AND the Debug options, so switch them to "Yes".

 

 

Don't forget to click on published AND to save !

 

  • Add a name to your Payment Method Configuration.
  • Click on "Yes" to published this method.
  • Save.

 

 

Note : If you want use several Svea Webpay Payment Methods, create several Svea Webpay payment instances like on the screen below.

 

 

View on the Checkout

 

We can see on the Checkout page all the methods published, so the customer may choose one payment mode and fill if required, his SSN code/VAT number

 

Note : The SSN code/VAT number is asked to the customer for the Invoice and the Payment Plan modes, for the Direct Bank and the Card payment modes the customer will be redirected to the payment platform website after finishing the checkout.

 

 

 

Restrictions

  • Zone : You can restrict the check payment method to a zone. By clicking on the edit icon, a popup will open enabling you to select a zone. You can also remove this limitation by clicking on the delete icon.
  • Shipping method : With this option you can select the shipping method for which this payment method will be available. For example, if you choose UPS, this payment method will only be usable if UPS is selected as shipping method. If an other shipping method is selected, this payment method will not be displayed. Note: if you selected "None" or don't select any shipping method, this payment method will always be available.
  • Currency: Choose the currencies allowed by this payment method.
  • Minimum price : The payment method can be available for only orders above a minimum price. This price uses the payment method price currency even if the price is 0.
  • Maximum price : The payment method can be available for only orders below a maximum price. This price uses the payment method price currency even if the price is 0.
  • With tax : Display the payment method only for products with tax.
  • Minimum quantity : If the order has a price lower than the price set in this field, so this payment method will not be available.
  • Maximum quantity : If the order has a price upper than the price set in this field, so this payment method will not be available.
  • Minimum weight : You can set a minimum weight so that orders below it won't be able to be paid with the current payment method. The weight of the order will be calculated based on the weight of each products in it.
  • Maximum weight : You can set a maximum weight so that orders over it won't be able to be paid with the current payment method. The weight of the order will be calculated based on the weight of each products in it.
  • Minimum volume : You can set a minimum volume so that orders below it won't be able to be paid with the current payment method. The volume of the order will be calculated based on the volume of each products in it. The volume is calculated with the width, height and length of the products.
  • Maximum volume : If the order has a volume upper than the price set in this field, so this payment method will not be available.
  • Prefix : You can restrict your payment methods to only post codes including such prefix with this option.
  • Minimum post code : You can restrict your payment methods to only post codes within a certain range whereby this is the minimum possible value
  • Maximum post code : You can restrict your payment methods to only post codes within a certain range whereby this is the maximum possible value
  • Suffix : You can restrict your payment methods to only post codes including such suffix with this option.

The ACLs are available in the business edition of HikaShop.  

  • None : When "none" is selected, the payment method will never be displayed.
  • All : "All" allow you to display the payment method for all the type of users. All groups are allowed to pay via this payment method.
  • Custom : Here you can select which groups can use this payment method. All the checked groups will be able to use this method.

Note about Access level :

  • Access level : With the business edition of HikaShop, you will be able to limit a coupon or a discount to specific users.

FAQ

I don't see any payment methods during the checkout, or I don't see some of them, what is the problem ?

There are several things which you could have missed.

  • 1/ Check that the payments plugins are installed and published
  • 2/ Check that you have configured your payment plugins (edit it and save its configuration)
  • 3/ Check that your template is able to display error messages: hikashop.com/documentation
  • 4/ Check that you have the payment view in the checkout workflow option of the configuration
  • 5/ If you restricted your payment methods to zones, check that the address you're using is inside those zones ! Otherwise the payment methods will be filtered out.
  • 6/ Check that the currency you're using is supported by the payment plugins you're using. Some payment plugins only supports a limited number of currencies. You should check that with the support of the payment gateways you're using.
  • 7/ Please make sure that you didn't change the currency code of your currency. Otherwise, the payment plugins won't recognize your currency. If you want to change the display of your currency, we invite you to use the "format" option on the right of the currency options screen as well as the symbol field.
  • 8/ When you select a currency or a shipping method in the options of the payment method, the payment method won't display unless that currency or shipping method is selected during the checkout. In most cases, these parameters shouldn't be selected so make sure they are unselected. To unselect them, you need to press the ctrl key and click on the selected currencies or shipping methods. Also remember if you selected one or several shipping methods here, when you add a new shipping method later on, you will want to go in the payment plugins options and select that new shipping method or it won't display any payment method for that new shipping method.
  • 9/ Please check that you didn't set the access option of the plugin (via the plugins manager of Joomla) to something else than public.
  • 10/ It can happen that the plugin's access is not set properly in the database. Please go in the Joomla plugins manager and edit the plugin and save it. That will sett the access if not present and might help solve your problem.

Description

This screen enables you to edit the payment method options. Payment methods will be filtered on checkout based on the zone you set for them, if any. Then, they will be displayed to the user for him to choose which payment method he prefers for his order.

Note that the payment method can probably support only a limited number of currencies.

 

Toolbar

 

  • Save & Close : Save the payment method options and return to the payment methods Management screen.
  • Save : Apply the modifications to the payment method and stay on the same screen.
  • Cancel : Return to the previous screen without saving the modifications.
  • Help : This button enables you to turn ON/OFF the help section, this screen will appear or disappear.

 

Main Information

If you use one of our commercial versions, you will be able to enter the name and description in different languages. This feature requires to have joomfish installed and can be activated in the configuration page, in the display tab. The languages available will be the ones in joomfish. If you don't enter something for a translation, it will just use the default information in the Main information tab instead. After you click on save or apply an additional publish icon will appear next to the fields where you entered something in the languages tabs so that you can easily enable or disable them.

 

Generic information

 

  • Published : This option allows you to publish or not the payment method.

Additional Information

 

 

In this part, we will see the primordial options of the Westpac Net payment method. You will need your Username, Password, your Biller Code AND your Encryption Key, and for production phase, your Merchant id. These references are in the Westpac/Payway setting page.
Also, you want to note the server's IP Address and the postback URL, as it will be useful later on.

First, you must go on payway.com.au, to create your account and get your merchant references on the Westpac/Payway security page.
Later go back on your Hikashop Westpac Net specific configuration plugin and fill in required inputs.

  • Username : Just put your Username in this field. This identifier is a code made of characters (number and letter).
  • Password : Like the Username. You will find it on the account Westpac/Payway setting page.
  • Merchant Id : Your Merchant Id in this field, especially for the production phase. (Not required in testing mode)
  • Your IP address : Here, you can see your IP address, it will be useful to set it in your Westpac/Payway setting page. Payway will accept only the registered IP Address in order to process payments (even for the testing mode)
  • Billercode : Like other security references, you will find it on the Westpac/Payway setting page
  • Encryption Key : Another required field to decrypted Westpac/Payway notification.
  • Postback URL : This will be useful on the Westpac/Payway settings page.

    Note : To configure server to server payment notifications use the Setup Net pages in PayWay. You must be using the Billing Payments/Shopping Cart configuration. Enter your Postback URL under the Server-to-Server Payment Notification section. Your server to server payment notification username and password are shown on the next page.

    PayWay will send a Payment Notification Parameters. This configuration is recommended. If you leave the Notification Post Type blank, PayWay will send parameters that you request in your URL, but in this case HikaShop won't be able to update order status automatically.

 

Setup page :

In this part, we will discover together the important pages to set your plugin and the Westpac Net settings page.

To go to Westpac/Payway Security page, go on payway.com.au log in, and click on Setup Net, then Security. You will now see your Biller Code, keep it for your Westpac Net specific configuration plugin and click on setup.

 

NOTE : Please note that I will only speak about setting pages which are linked to Westpac Net Workflow, there are more setting pages for currencies, taxes and many other stuff that I will not show in this tutorial.

 

 

Here, you must select "Bill Payments/Shopping Cart", and continue by clicking on next.

 

 

This page shows you again the Biller Code and allow you to custom the Westpac/Payway payment page, for our plugin configuration continue with the next button.

 

 

Here, you will find your Encryption Key, your Username and your password.
Plus, don't forget to set your IP Address shown in your Westpac Net plugin specific configuration, as usual click next.

 

 

Close to the Westpac Net setting end, you will see your merchant Id, this one is facultative for testing mode but required for the production phase.

 

 

The different options:

  • Debug : You can enable here the debug option of the plugin which will then log the debug data in the payment log file of HikaShop.
  • Allow notifications from Westpac Net : If this option is enable, the automatic response of Westpac Net server will be treated to update the order status. For example, if the payment has been completed correctly, the order status will be the specified verified status.
  • Testing Mode : You can choose here to switch in testing mode (for use the Westpac Net sandbox) or in  production phase, don't forget to fill in your Merchant id if you didn't.
  • Invalid status :  Here, you can select the status to an order if the plugin receives a invalid completion notification from Westpac Net for an order. 
  • Verified status : Same idea than "invalid". 

 

Closer Look to the checkout

When the customer will proceed to the payment, HikaShop will redirect the customer to the PayWay payment platform.

 

 

The customer will have to fill in his credit card information, and he will see directly the transaction result, he will then be redirect to Hikashop (If you ask for it the Westpac/Payway setting page).
