Question about HikaSerial - AcyMailing integration

-- HikaShop version -- : 4.0.3
-- HikaSerial version -- : 3.0.0
-- Joomla version -- : 3.9.2
-- PHP version -- : 7.2.17

I found a limitation with the integration of AcyMailing with HikaSerial

I can add a tag to a Newsletter within HikaShop without a problem, the email gets sent and the code is correctly generated and integrated

The issue is that these coupons are not limited to the user to which the email is sent, therefore when the 'Auto load in cart if possible' is marked these coupons get assigned to any user!!

It would also be good to limit the quota of these coupons to one?

Is there something that I am missing?

Thanks in advance,

Antonio

Hello,

I'm not sure to understand your message since you're talking about the integration between Acymailing and HikaShop, via the plugin which allow to add coupons.
That plugin is not related to HikaSerial ; so I'm not sure to see what you're talking about nor if I can help with regarding the HikaSerial support.
Please clarify regarding your configuration and settings.

Hello,

The HikaSubscription Acymailing Subscriber allow to add a customer to an Acymailing group when a subscription is activated.
Just as the plugin description explain :

This plugin allow to add a user into a mailing-list when the HikaSerials' subscription is active

I'm afraid that there is no kind of link between that plugin and your message/question :

The issue is that these coupons are not limited to the user to which the email is sent, therefore when the 'Auto load in cart if possible' is marked these coupons get assigned to any user!!

It would also be good to limit the quota of these coupons to one?

In one hand your talking about HikaShop coupons and Acymailing newsletters.
On the other hand, you're referring to a plugin I made but which is no kind of relationship with sending newsletter nor HikaShop coupons.

So no, I still don't know what kind of help I can provide you for something which is not related with my work.

If you have questions regarding HikaShop coupons, please open a new thread in the HikaShop section of the forum so the HikaShop support team will be able to help you.
If you have question regarding HikaSerial ; please ask your question regarding HikaSerial. I'm sorry but I cannot provide any help for elements which are not related to my work.

Hello,

Thank you for your reply

I'm sorry I didn't give you the right reference to the plugin in question, this is the one I used:

<name>AcyMailing Tag : HikaSerial content</name>
	<creationDate>décembre 2018</creationDate>
	<version>3.0.0</version>
	<author>Obsidev</author>
	<authorEmail>contact@obsidev.com</authorEmail>

	<copyright>Copyright (C) 2012-2018 OBSIDEV SARL - All rights reserved.</copyright>
	<license>GNU/GPLv3 http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-3.0.html</license>
<description>This plugin enables you to insert HikaSerial content inside any e-mail sent by AcyMailing</description>

I use it by entering a tag in an AcyMailing email, an example:
{hikaserial_genpack:1}
Here 1 being the ID of a "HikaSerial Pack"

This Pack is associated with a coupongen Pack Generator, which has been created in the Hikaserial > Plugins > "Coupon - HikaSerial Generator plugin" section

I hope this helps you better understand my question

Regards

Hello,

Thank you for the details ; it helps to understand a bit more even if I still don't really get your question.

The HikaSerial coupon generator do duplicate an existing coupon (called "template") and can modify only few elements :
- The coupon code (with the generated serial)
- The coupon discount price (if the coupon is generated via an order, so it take the price of the corresponding product)
- The coupon expiration date (if you set-up that in the generator parameters)

That plugin do not interact with the coupon restrictions.
( Please also note that the "user restriction" on discounts/coupons is very recent within HikaShop )

So I would not recommend to use the "autoload" in your coupon template since that feature is only recommend to have automatic discount when the customer cart is reaching a certain price (or number of products, depending or not of specific products).
I do have the feeling that, if you send coupons via a newsletter, your customer will have their coupon code in the email.
Otherwise, I would recommend other ways to generate such kind of coupon, like a coupon on a Joomla user group with a quota per user !
