Convert order created variable in correct date format

-- HikaShop version -- : 4.3.0
-- HikaMarket version -- : 3.1.0
-- Joomla version -- : 3.9.19
-- PHP version -- : 7.2.26

Hello,

how is it possible to convert the variable {order_created:date} in the format date d-m-Y. I tried with this function but doesn`t work:

gmdate("d-m-Y", '{order_created:date}')

How is possible?
