Good day,

I have a site that I am updating to work with multiple branches / vendors.

I have a calculator using Calcbuilder set up on Hikashop, and it works perfectly.

However, on a cloned site, when I install Hikamarket, it stops working. Do you have any idea why this would happen? Since nothing has changed except adding Hikamarket, I am a little confused about why it would stop working!

Thanks.

Hello,

I do not know how Calcbuilder is working nor the kind of trigger it's using.
But HikaMarket do not change the HikaShop product page ; it can display the vendor name in the page thanks to a "page slot" but I don't see why it would break Calcbuilder. Afterwards, I just suppose that it's integrating with the HikaShop product page..

Hi,

Well, it works on the site without Hikamarket, and not with Hikamarket, so I can only assume it's your component.

Hello,

Okay ; but I still don't know anything about "Calcbuilder" nor the issue you have.
Please be sure that HikaMarket is not doing something intentionnaly to make that component (that I know nothing about) stop working.
But please also understand that, if I can't understand the nature of the issue, I won't be able to give you any idea/advice or else regarding solving a problem that I can't see.

Hi,

I understand that. I am also not super well versed in the component built by someone else.

When I try to run it on the frontend, it does nothing with Hikamarket installed. On the original site with no Hikamarket, it generates a price.

How can I figure out why it is doing that? There are no error messages etc. It just does nothing.

Thanks.

Hello,

Once again, please take in consideration in your message that I don't know (absolutely) anything about Calcbuilder. I don't know how it's working, what it's display, where it perform its integration, if it has its own URL or if it displays content in HIkaShop (or if it should display something in HIkaMarket).

When I try to run it on the frontend

Where ? (I mean, exactly where ; on which page, etc).

it does nothing with Hikamarket installed

I'm sorry but "does nothing" do not explain what is the issue ; it can be "display nothing" or "an interface do not react", etc.

it generates a price.

Again, where ? How ? A visual ?

How can I figure out why it is doing that?

You can't and I'm afraid that I can't either. But the Calcbuilder developer can.
