change product ordering ASC to DESC

By default i want the products listed in the category by newest products first then oldest products last.

In the Hikashop Configuration i changed the setting to Ordering Field: product_id




However, i think this orders it oldest product first and newest products last. Can there please be a setting in the backend to change from Ascending to Descending by default.

There is a similar setting on the left area of that screen for the ordering direction.

Thank you. I worked out i needed to change it in the content menu & modules that i had already created to show categories.
