HikaSerial pack/serial settings not copied when duplicating HikaShop product

Hello,

When I duplicate/copy a product in HikaShop, most product settings are copied correctly, but the HikaSerial serial/pack assignment is not copied to the new product.

This is a problem because for event products we need the duplicated product to keep the same HikaSerial configuration, so the serial/boarding pass generation continues to work without manually reconfiguring it every time.

Could you please confirm if this is expected behavior, a bug, or if there is a setting/hook needed to copy the HikaSerial product association when duplicating a HikaShop product?

Hello,

For your questions related to HikaSerial, please post in the HikaSerial section of the forum ; so I'll be assigned and notified of your message.

HikaSerial does not handle the "onAfterProductCopy" trigger ; it require some specific development.
We can't talk about a "bug" but it's a missing feature that I missed and you're the first one to detect it.
We'll look into it and see what we can do.
