Can't edit product descriptions on frontend

Hi,

I've already tried to enable access on the vendor access page and the config access level page and enabled front-end editing, as you can see from the video. Still not working.

Please provide SPECIFIC instructions about WHICH settings I need to change to allow vendors to edit descriptions. Links to pages about access levels are useless because I've already done that, and it's not working.

So please tell me which setting to go to on which menu to enable front-end description editing for vendors, step by step.

Hello,

I'm sorry but I won't look at your video ; it does not allow to provide a useful and efficient support.
Other users of the forum won't be able to use that forum thread, so it would more be a support forum but an instruction guide for your specific issue.
That's not the goal of that support ; we want to "teach" how the software is working, how to understand it and use it.

Product edition on the front-end is working by default.
You can just take a look at the demo website : demo.hikashop.com/index.php/en/hikamarke...l/product/edit/cid-2
So, even if I want, I can't provide any "step by step" since it's a feature already enabled by default ; thus it's working by default on a fresh HikaMarket installation.

Now, like any other support thread, please provide details regarding your issue ; your versions (Joomla, HikaShop, HikaMarket) and also provide more details regarding editors plugin that you might use.
Please provide screenshot instead of a video, it helps everybody to have a fast and clean vision on the context.

Well, unfortunately, your teaching isn't great, which is why I have to ask for specific instructions.

I'll make screenshots of the settings, and then you can tell me which ones are not correct.

You might want to improve your customer service though. It's kind of crap.

Okay. So here are all the settings.

As you can see in my video (if you bothered to watch it) you cannot add any products from the frontend when you are logged in as a vendor.

Please advise; based on these settings, which ones are not correct? I have tried MANY different configurations, and I cannot make it work.

Okay, so I just uninstalled Hikamarket and reinstalled it. Still can't add a product description on the frontend.

So if this was automatically enabled, it SHOULD work. But it doesn't.

What do I do now? According to your past comments, it SHOULD be working. It's not. How do I fix it?

I'd make you a video to show you the problem, but, well, that's not an option.

Looks like there are some Hikashop errors on the page.

Could these be the reason I can't edit product descriptions on the frontend?

If so, how do I fix them?

Can you please advise if the deprecated code errors on that page are the reason for front-end editing not working, and if so, how do I fix it?

I've tried every other setting combination I can think of, and it STILL doesn't work, so I'd really appreciate the product support I paid for.

I'm sorry but for the moment I didn't gave you any explanation or else.
You open a ticket asking for precise step-by-step instruction for an issue which has not been defined.

A step-by-step explication won't help you, for the reason :

As we can see in your latest screenshot, you have the "text area" to edit the product description.
But you don't have the "wysiwyg editor", like in the Joomla backend.

It can be different things, which is why I asked a specific question in my previous message :

You issue is not regarding ACL or not having the possibility to edit the product description ; but the fact that the interactive editor is not loading properly.
It could be related to the editor, related to some javascript issues, or other kind of bug.

I've actually just uninstalled and reinstalled the whole site, and I am rebuilding it from scratch. Seems like the faster option.
