Remove product "Option" on certain variants?

Hello.

I have a product with different "Options" and "Characteristics". Is it possible to remove one of the Options when a Characteristic has a certain value? i.e. for a particular Characteristic Variant of that product?

That's not possible. Options are global to a product and its variants. That would require quit a lot of changes to make it happen.

I have a similar request. It should not be too difficult. All we need is to be able to add options to variants.

Will that be difficult to implement?

It is difficult. The system hasn't been made to handle that. There is a good full week of work at least to have something like working for someone who knows PHP really well and HikaShop well. Also that would add yet another layer of complexity to handle different options for different variants of a product.
