Order status when no payment is required

Now when we place any order for which price is zero.Its status goes to "confirmed".
now in configuration "Payment confirmed order status" is "Paid" so I thought it would be same when price is zero.
How to change order status to other than "confirmed" for order where price is zero?

I think that you'll be able to do it by setting the Payment confirmed order status option to "Paid" through "Hikashop->System->Configuration->Main->'Order tab'".
