Paypal ignores cost of variants

We've had an email from a customer telling us that the variants on our products are not calculated when sent to Paypal. The variants and their prices are fully displayed in the order and checkout however paypal has charged the exact amount (including shipping etc) minus the cost of the additional variants.

Hi,

There are other threads which talk about a similar problem, Nicolas answered it and I don't know every details.
For the moment, please deactivate the option "send order details" in your paypal plugin configuration. It should avoid this trouble.

Thanks Jerome. Couldn't find the corresponding thread you were referring to buy have deactivated the 'sender order details' and will see how that goes.
