How to turn off modal pop ups on 2.5 essential

I want to use bootstrap check out styles without modals.
However documentation shows option to turn off only in Joomla 3 not 2.5 see www.hikashop.com/support/documentation/5...html#display_general


How can I keep style_red/ bootstrap settings on and NO modals on checkout?

Actually it seems stuck in modal checkout

I absolutely do not want any modals in checkout. HOw do I turn them off????

Weird - once i fixed the bootstrap modal classes (add div. infront of modal) and cleared cache a few times i go t the checkout as required.

Seriously - i would strongly consider modals in checkout as a poor UX choice for cross platform viewing/conversion ratio

Loving Hikashop very much - the template overrides though confusing at first are nothing short of brilliant
