custom checkout

Easy question: what is the view filename that I can edit to customize the checkout step1 file.
I would like to customise it so the amount is shown without tax.
Ie: product price : CAN 100 $
Shipping: CAN 5 $
Tax: CAN 12.5 $
Subtotal: CAN 117.50
Payment fees. CAN 10 $
Total: CAN 127.50 $

Hi,

The checkout is composed of several views. One general view ( step ) and one view per step action : cart, coupon, address, shipping, etc.

So I think you will want to override the "checkout | cart".
You can read the variable "$this->step" in order to know the step number.

Where can I o,r how can I set the default county in the registration form, on the store, to my county. The first country shown is France, and while I am of french heritage I live in the US and would like the US to come up as the default country. Viva le France

Hi,

We have several thread which already talk about this point of configuration.
1 - Configure your default tax zone with your country
2 - Save the default country value for your country custom field
3 - Precise your HikaShop version, there is a potential bug in HikaShop 2.2.1 which is fixed in HikaShop 2.2.2

It is a frequent question. You should be able to find the information by a search.
But here it is:You can go to display-custom fields-address_country. Then in default value you can choose it
