Hi I have installed Hikashop and would like to know if the free or premium version can have the option to display a buy it now tab which is linked to an external url? The point here is that most of my products are going to be linked directly to a paypal url or to an affiliate url or to another page on the site. I do apologise if this question is already covered but I did look at documentation and faqs etc.

So far it look very promising thank you.

Hi,

Why not simply put the link in the description of the product or in the URL field of the product ? That's possible in all the editions of HikaShop.

hi Nicolas, did I read correctly 33k posts!!

Thanks for taking the time to respond to mine. I see so I could simply add a link in the description. Then is it possible to remove the checkout txt link on the product?

actually I meant "add to cart" tab. Can one unpublish that?

I tried adding the link to the product url but it looks unsightly on the product detail page. It is a long url that runs across the page and it is listed as the "brand url" When in fact it is the purchase url. Thanks!

If you don't want to display add to cart buttons, you can turn on the "catalogue mode" option of the configuration.

Nicolas, things are a lot clearer now thank you. Is there a way to display prices in different currencies so for example product a £5 and Product B $25 without displaying the shop's default currency? Once again thanks for your help.

Hi,

You will have to edit the view "product / listing_price" to change some code in order to display always the price in it's currency.
It require some php knowledges
