Checkout Workflow not working on site; keeps loopi

I am currently having an issue that I have whittled down to an error in the checkout workflow. I am unsure exactly what is doing it, and I don't get an error message with debug mode turned on.

When I add a product to the cart and go to checkout, the 'Checkout Steps' bar only shows "1: Login" and "2: End". I have made sure that I have a full checkout workflow in order under configuration. When I attempt to continue from Step 1 it loops back around and displays the page again. I am unsure why it is doing this.

Any help or insight would be appreciated! I looked on the forum and found similar problems, but nothing specifically dealing with checkout workflow this way.

Hi,

The checkout bar display the different screen steps. In you case, you put all actions in the same step.
Because the "Login" is the first action, the step uses this name.

Does the template right display the Joomla messages ?
I see that you have innovative gateway payment plugin, it is possible that the plugin return you an error message but you don't see it.
I also see that you have a "terms & condition" action, so you have to check the checkbox in order to validate the full step.

Thanks!

I fixed the checkout display so it is showing all of the steps. I believe the issue is the payment. I'm going to set up a different payment option and see if I can get it to work, while I figure out why the current setup is not working.
