i would like to know if thats possible, i would like the costumer to choose wether if already registered or create a new account,
so the display would be,
Left Part: Already customer? login here
Username, password Login
Right Part Display only a radial button with register account and continue.
If they choose the second one lead them to register like it´s displayed now in the checkout with all the data.
if yes continue to step 3.

Hi,

Yes I think it will be able possible to have such thing but it will require to override several views.
It will also require some development/php skills.

But I think that using the new checkout login/registration switcher can be a good thing with no special modifications.
Like that I do not have any idea how exactly you have to modify HikaShop to have the result your described.

This is exactly the functionality I would like to see. I have a captcha program being displayed on the checkout page which is great for someone that does not have an account. However, if they have an account and only need to login, they have to then fill in the captcha screen in order to login. If the registration was just a button instead of a form (initially) then that would prevent this from happening.

Hi,

Users don't have to fill any captcha when they login. The captcha check is only done (and displayed) for the registration form.

Yes but if the registration form is on the same page as the login form then tha catchable appears and has to be completed even if the person needs only to use the login form. I got around this by turning off the login form and displaying it elsewhere and redirecting the joomla registration to the hikashop registration form. A lot of websites use a button to give the user a choice of either logging in or registering by presenting buttons for each operation.

Hi,
Are you using the "checkout login/registration switcher" ? Can you show me through some screenshots how did you configured the page : "hikashop->System->Configuration->Checkout" ?
