Hi all!

I have an urgent matter: I finally finished creating my joomla 2.5 site with sj plus template and hikashop. i installed it inside a subdirectory as to not make it public before it was finished. Everything was tested and worked well so I added a redirect in my htaccess file to let my URL point to the subdirectory where joomla is installed (in my case: www.rangger-haustechnik.at/offline ). the "offline" folder is hidden from the URL now as it should be.
still everything works fine, exept the shop :-( When I add anything to cart I will be redirected to the popup or productlisting inside the "offline" folder which he obviously can´t find anymore.
is there a way I can solve this with an htaccess entry? or is all lost? :(

edit: a small detail I noticed after I redirected my URL: the cart doesn´t empty anymore after checkout (that option is set in the backend though). Even after refreshing the page, logging out or making the order. Everytime I return to the page and add something new to the cart it accumulates. What could be the reason for that??

found this Posting , tried adding that to my htaccess file but it didnt´change anything :(

thanks in advance

Hi,

Wouldn't it be because you still have the old URL in the "live site" parameter of the joomla configuration which HikaShop uses in order to know where he is.

Hi Nicolas!

thanks for the reply. well that could indeed be the problem. however in a fit of panic I reset all my .htaccess and config files again and am using the subdirectory as of now. I will try again some other day.... need some nerves for that :-)

thanks again! great support!

cheers
