recaptcha not showing

Hi, I know that there are many posts out there with this topic and I went through most of them and tried all different settings, but nothing seems to work. The fact is that I installed the recaptcha plugin recommended for Hikashop. It works fine for Joomla registration, but as soon as I turn on the redirect joomla registration to Hikashop plugin or the Hikashop user synchronization plugin, the recaptcha does not show up at all. I am not using K2. There is also no error message. In the installation guide, I did not understand the following:
"If you use HikaShop's simplified registration, you need to display it under the email field (with the Display after option), otherwise the ReCaptcha won't be displayed and your users won't be able to register when checking out."
First of all, I don't use the simplified registration, but I also could not figure out, what you mean by the "display after" option. Where exactly do I find that?
Your help would be highly appreciated, I spent a lot of time trying to get this recaptcha to work.

Thank you so much. I don't know how this could happen. I spend so much time trying all different kind of settings. Now I realized that I downloaded the recaptcha for Hikashop, but forgot to install it and then I was using the joomla recaptcha instead.
