Hide states

We only ship to the US, so I unpublished all other countries assuming that the states would unpublish as well, however as you see from the attachment (issue.jpg), states from unpublished countries still display. I'm wondering if there is a fast way to unpublish all states (as opposed to doing 20 at a time for over 4,000 states... view 'holycow.jpg'). Thanks for your help.

Hi Josh,

You should change the default value for the custom field "country" to "united states of America" and then change the default value of the state to the one you want. Thus, only American states will be available on the front end and you don't have to unpublish the rest. You can change these parameters in Display>Custom Fields.
