Option to turn off points discount for buyer

-- Joomla version -- : 3.2

Hi,

When I turned on the "virtual coupon" option in my alphauserpoint payment plugin, it does what it say perfectly but it is always on. If my customer does not want to use her/his points, there no way to turn it on at the frontend or am I missing something?

Hi,

If you do not use the virtual coupon mode, it means you use the plugin as a payment method.
So the customer has to choose the payment method and validate to create a discount coupon.

I will recommend you to use the plugins "user points" and to activate the new checkout step in the joomla plugin configuration part of the plugin "hikashop | userpoints".
At this moment you will be able to use the "virtual coupon" with a "yes/no" for the activation.

Hi,

Your recommendation worked perfectly as how I intended it to be. Needed the virtual coupon option to be on so that it will not deduct my user point before the final payment and to prevent more issue when my customer wishes to cancel his/her purchase.
