Shipping method is both selected and not

At checkout, the one available shipping method should be checked by default (according to my configuration, and like the payment method). It is not. However, at the bottom of the page, the adding of the prices is not consistent:
The total of the products is 260 SEK, shipping 0, but the total sum is 360 SEK.

The solution will be to set the "Auto select default shipping and payment methods" option to YES through "Hikashop->System->Configuration->Checkout".

Unfortunately, this option is already set to YES. The screen dump shows that the payment method is auto selected correctly, but the shipping method is not. However, at the bottom of the page you can see that the shipping cost is shown as 0 (which is consistent with the shipping method not being selected graphically), but the overall sum (products and shipping) is clearly the sum including 100 SEK for the shipping.

If I press the continue/update button at the very bottom of the page, I am forwarded to the paypal payment, and the sum drawn is 360 SEK (i.e. shipping is included for the cost of 100 SEK).

Did you do some modifications through the "shipping" file (or other file) of the "checkout" view of your front-end template via "Hikashop->Display->Views" ? If yes, can you revert them and test it again ?
If it still not working, can you give me a link to your shop so that I can directly test it ?
