Hi,

I have a webshop where we are not deliver anything to the customers address - either he must pick up the goods at a fixed address or he buy a service or membership which should not be delivered at all.
Is it possible to configure this in any way?

E.g. remove option for changing delivery address at checkout and maybe also to have status delivered immediately after status confirmed if all articles in the order are not relevant for delivery?

Thanks,

Claus.

Sure, the solution will be to sell virtual goods, and create a "pick up" manual shipping method for physical goods.

E.g. remove option for changing delivery address at checkout and maybe also to have status delivered immediately after status confirmed of all articles are not relevant for delivery?

The solution will be to set the "Payment confirmed order status" option to "delivered" through "Hikashop->System->Configuration->Main"

Thanks, but my point is that we sell both types of goods - virtual and physical. And if an order has only virtual the status should be delivered when confirmed (payed) and only confirmed if the goods are physical - if at least one item is physical.

Is that possible?

If yes, where do I indicate that an article is virtual or physical - and thus which shipping method to use and which status to set when paid?

Br,

Claus.

The solution will probably be to use different payment methods for your virtual products and physical products, and use the "Verified status" option of your payment method.

where do I indicate that an article is virtual or physical

You'll just have to set a weight and dimensions of 0 for virtual products.

Okay, thanks. I see the point with the extra payment method. Can the payment method then be selected automatic in any way?
Eg. for some products (virtual goods) it should be one method and for other products (physical articles) it should be another?

Yes. Normally, you set a weight in your shippable goods and no weight in your virtual goods.
So just use the "minimum/maximum weight" restrictions fields of the Restrictions section of the options screen of your payment methods.
The system will filter the payment methods based on the weight automatically.
