Error on Proceed to checkout

Hi

When i login and add product to cart then click Proceed to checkout and it takes abit long time to load to next page and show this message at the top

Message
An error occurred. The connection to the Canada Post server could not be established: connect() timed out!

No shipping method found


i already setup the Canada Post and and put the Merchant id ... any one can give me some advise . thx

Hi,

This indicates that your website is not able to connect to the CanadaPost server.
This usually happens because the hosting company is blocking outside connections from the server.
Please contact your hosting company and see if that's the case and if they can white list for you the connection to CanadaPost.

what port the hosting need to open in order to fix this ?

Hi,

Looking at this discussion it looks like the port 3000 could be the one you are looking for.
You can also check that your webhost is not blocking their IP (66.110.6.131 according to the discussion again).
If you still have issue you can try to contact CanadaPost to see if they have any tips regarding the use of their API.
