Enter checkout info without hitting “Next” button

Is it possible to update the checkout details (personal info, shipping selection, and payment selection) without having to hit the "next" button for each section?

If yes, please direct me to a tutorials.

I reckon you want the checkout process not spread over multiple pages but in a single page.

Well, that's simple.
In the backend, go to -> System -> Configuration -> Checkout tab.
Make sure "Advanced checkout workflow edition" is set to "Yes".
Move all checkout elements into a single column, so there's nothing in a second or other column.
You may then as well set "Display checkout progress bar" to "No checkout progress".

Bingo.

For more help you my click on the button with the same name in the uppermost HikaShop toolbar and read the contents on checkout.
