-- url of the page with the problem -- : www.manncat.com/giftshop
-- HikaShop version -- : 2.3.1
-- Joomla version -- : 3.3
-- PHP version -- : 5.14
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : cross browser
-- Error-message(debug-mod must be tuned on) -- : Error: Only up to 6 modules are supported in this layout. If you need more add your own layout.

Hi, I recently upgraded to the latest version of Hika shop. The product listing display is working fine with my template (Yoo Themes 'Master' template).

However, the checkout process is throwing a module layout error. How do I trace what is causing this? I have all Hikashop modules unpublished, with the exception of the cart modules, which is set to display only on my product listing pages.

I attached two screenshots. One showing the product listing page, which shows the template displayed correctly. The seconf of the checkout screen. Notice the footer info no longer appears, but the module debug message is showing.

How can I resolve this? Do I have to edit a Hikashop Checkout view? If so which one?

I need to resove this as it is putting customers off, thinking it could be a security problem - Which its not, but they don't know that...

It's a limitation in Yootheme templates, not a HikaShop issue.

As the notice states, on this specific page you're having more than the allowed 6 modules published to that one module position.

You should go into the Joomla Module Manager, sort the modules by module position and check what modules you have all published to the position in question. Probably you do not need all of them in that one position on that page, so taking one or some off by changing the menu item assignment for those will solve your problem.
Otherwise, if you feel you need all modules on that page, you should change the module position for one or more; in other words, simply place them elsewhere on the page.

Of course, for "Custom HTML" modules, there is usually also a third alternative solution in "combining" two or more in a single one, i.e. by utilising the UIkit grid system.
