Link to external product page

Is it possible to link the product link (the link that is attached to the name of the product) that shows in the categories listing or in the shopping cart with an external page/article created for each product. I tried putting the url of the page in the URL field of the product in the backend already.

Which view is responsible for rendering the product in the hikashop->product listing menu item?

Hi,

Yes that's possible but you should enter your URL in the "canonical URL" field, not the URL field and make sure that you set the "Force canonical URLs on listings" option of the configuration to "Use canonical URL if specified".

For the product rending, by default it's the file "listing_img_title" of the view "product" that you can edit via the menu Display>views.
