Registration Error Message

-- HikaShop version -- :Essential version 2.3.1
-- Joomla version -- :3.3
-- PHP version -- : 5.4
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : Firefox 29.0.1
-- Error-message(debug-mod must be tuned on) -- : Error_message
"Username and password do not match or you do not have an account yet."

If I add a product to the cart and try to register as a new customer, I get this error message:
"Username and password do not match or you do not have an account yet."

Attached is a screen print of my HikaShop registration settings.



What am I doing wrong? Please help.

Hi,

I just tried to add a product to the cart and register at the checkout page, everything seems to be working fine.
The message which indicate that I will receive an email is well sent.

Hi Xavier,

Thank you for testing the registration.
I got it to work in Safari and Internet Explorer but cannot get it working in Firefox.
When I complete the 5 required fields in the Firefox window I get this message:
"Username and password do not match or you do not have an account yet."
Is there a Firefox setting that I need to change to get the registration to work?

I tried on Firefox too, are your pressing the "enter" key or clicking on the button to submit the form ?

It does not matter. If I press the "Enter" key or click the "Register" button, I get this message when I submit the form:
"Username and password do not match or you do not have an account yet."

Hi,

It's working fine on my Firefox 29.0.1, the same version as you.
Could you try to clear your browser cache ?

I think that something wrong is stored in your browser.

Hi Xavier,

I cleared the browser cache and it still has the same problem.
But I went to 2 other computers and using Firefox was able to register so the problem is occurring only on my computer.
I'll reinstall Firefox and that should fix it.
