-- url of the page with the problem -- : elektrosmog.newerla.de
-- HikaShop version -- :2.3.0
-- Joomla version -- : 2.5.6
-- PHP version -- : x.x.x
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : Firefox

According to german law I need to change the text of the button at the end of the checkout process.
All buttons offer only "weiter" (proceed). What I need is "Kaufen" (Buy now).
Is it possible to change this?

Hi,

Sure. Just use a translation override to change that text, like any text in HikaShop:
hikashop.com/download/languages.html#modify

Thank you for your quick reply, but that does not solve my problem.
The "Weiter (next)"-Button appears throughout the whole checkout process. When I change the translation file, all buttons will change but I need only the last button to be changend to "Kaufen (Buy now)". It makes no sense to have the other buttons changed this way.

This is a serious problem for all German users. German law forces us in internet business to make it exactly this way. There are lawyers who search the net for these things and if it is found you have to pay up to 1500,- €.

The last step of the checkout uses the translation CHECKOUT_BUTTON_FINISH="Kaufen" while the button of the other steps use the translation NEXT="Weiter"
So no, you have two different translation and you can have it the way you want.

What you're describing would only happen if you were using an old version of HikaShop which doesn't have that next/finish button separation but it has been like that since more than a year as far as I can remember.

Thank you very much, finally I found it and it works :)
It is not in the category "checkout" but in "since 2.2.2", one should know.
It would be easer, if the changes along the versions were sorted in the categories...

Unfortunately, it was a request from our translators to keep new translations sorted by version number so that the can easily translate the new translations when we do an update instead of having to look through all the file to find each new translation.
So we can't change that.
