Not receiving admin emails

problem - I am not receiving admin messages on creation of orders.

updated to latest version of hikashop and joomla

admin EMails are being sent from joomla on registraion but nothing on creation of an order

Customer is receiving their emails fine

emails are not going to spam

Any suggestions?

Hi,

Please check that the HikaShop "admin order status notification" is right published in your HikaShop emails (System > Emails).

It could be that you removed your email address in the "order creation notification email address" field of the configuration.
Or it could be that your email server doesn't like something else with the settings in the Emails section of the HikaShop configuration, like the bounce back email, or the fact that the from email and the order creation notification email address are the same, or on the same domain, or something like that.
I would invite you try try different combinations and/or check with your hosting company what they recommend for the emails settings.

:-) found the answer.

In Hikashop-System-Configuration-Main-emails I had not noticed the 'Order CReation notification email address' field and had only filled in the from name and from address.

As soon as I filled this in - bingo - it all worked fine.
