Extra Product is Added to the Order on Checkout

I am updating a site from Virtuemart/Joomla 1.5 to Hikashop/Joomla 3 at the above url.

Whenever I place an order, the emails and the order display on the joomla backend have an extra random product added to them. For example, I ordered the $1 Test Product and went through the checkout process. During checkout it only shows one order for $1. But after I go to the payment processor and the order is created an extra product is added to the emails I receive and the order on the backend, as shown in the attached image. But the actual amount processed for payment and the Grand Total shown for the order is only for the $1 product. I can't figure out how that extra product is getting in there.

Please help if you have any idea what the issue could be. Thank you!

1. Can you download the last Hikashop version through our website, Install it and test it again ?
2. Did you set the "extra product" as an option of the product that you already added on you cart ?

I updated to the latest version of Hikashop but that didn't affect the problem. Also no product options were set anywhere on the site.

I ended up exporting all the products to a csv and then importing them into a new Joomla installation with Hikashop installed. That fixed it. Not sure why - but perhaps this will help someone else if they encounter this issue.
