Checkout not working

-- HikaShop version -- : 2.3.2
-- Joomla version -- : 2.5.22
-- PHP version -- : 5.3.27
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : Safari 6.1.6

I've inherited responsibility for a Joomla 2.5 website with Hikashop Essential 2.3.2 and I don't know that much about it, although I've been reading everything I can find (probably except for what I need to read).

The process for purchases of memberships has stopped working. I've tried purchasing a membership myself and when I add something to the cart, nothing appears to happen. I don't see any button to advance to the next phase.

I've attached a screen capture of the checkout tab of the Hikashop configuration.

What am I doing wrong?

Hi,

There is no capture attached in your message.
The forum just accept "jpeg" and "png" image files and will refuse if the file is too big (more than 1MB) ; please be sure that the screenshot is in the right format. Otherwise you can use an external website screenshot service.

When I went in your website, I saw that you have a "login" step, so the user first need to login or to register.
The button for login or register are just below the fields, not at the bottom of the checkout.
Once logged (or registered), the "next" button should be display at the bottom of the checkout.

There is nothing to do. Your checkout is already working.
I've just did a test and didn't had any problem placing an order.

Today, someone tried to register on our website and then sent the following information (name redacted)

Dear Sirs and Madams: I'm trying to register online. Once I click on adult membership, it does not take me anywhere where I can give my name and credit card info. Please fix--I would prefer to do it online, not by snail mail. Please let me know if the problem is fixed, or if there is a problem on my end.

When I try to register using either my computer or a backup computer, even after deleting cookies, I go nowhere after adding to the cart.

That's because you must have configured the option "After a product is added to the cart" to "Always stay on the page" instead of the default "Always redirect to the checkout" in the Main tab of the HikaShop configuration.
It's not a bug, just the way you configured your shop as far as I can see.
