Strange link behaviour in firefox,opera

-- Browser(s) name and version -- : firefox latest

Hi i have a strange problem. I have made a hidden menu of checkout type . And i use the link in some of my buttons.
When i use chrome browser everything works fine. When i use firefox,opera and i use the link (either by pressing the button or by writing in the url bar ) i get redirected to XXXXXXXXX/product /listing
It adds the "/product/listing" to the end of the url i use!
Any idea what might be the issue?

Can you give us a link to the link that you are using through your buttons so that we can directly test it on our end ?
Also, I think that your issue is probably coming form the way you structured your link.

I just went to your checkout page and there is not /product/listing at the end of the url.
I am using Firefox 32.

Do you have added this url in the option "Force a menu on the checkout" in Configuration > Checkout ?

No i have not used anything at that point of config.

I get the redirected page still though. when i enter statnew.widetesting.info/my-cart/ is statnew.widetesting.info/my-cart/product/listing in any browser.....

I am really not able to reproduce the issue on my end.. When going to the checkout after adding a product to the cart, the url is correct, there is no "product/listing" at the end of the url.

Even if I try to go to the next step, etc, the url is still correct.

Thanks to give us the exact way to do in order to reproduce the issue.
And you can potentially try to use the option to force a menu on checkout to solve this issue.
