Hi guys,

First I'll start by saying that this is my last resort. I've read your documentations and Googled my problems before contacting you guys. I have several small issues with my checkout process. Basically I would like to have ONLY guest checkout and no registration:

1. I get two tabs on the head of the checkout page. One titled "Login to your account" and the other titled "Guest". I've set Login & Registration under configurations -> checkout -> login to "No". Tried to remove the "Login" from the Checkout workflow but then all the address fields are completely gone.

2. The thumbnails of my products in the checkout list are gone. I've checked the url and got "Not Found" error.

3. I can't seem to be able to translate "Remove" from on the items list. Tried looking for it in Configurations -> Languages but it's seems to be translated already in my language fills. Tried to use Joomla!'s core language override tool but it's not showing up as well.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Guy.

Hi,

1. You indeed have to let the login step in order to have the address fields. If the option "login" is disabled so you should not have the login form in the checkout. Do you have any view modifications related to this part ?

2. As the first point, do you have view edition ? Are the given urls valid ones ? What is the image folder permission value ? 755 ?

3. By default there is only an icon displayed, not "remove" text. So if you are not able to find and translate the value in the language file, it's maybe a value set directly in the view, so again a view override.

Do you have installed this shop from scratch, or someone done that before ?

Hi Xavier,

I've contacted my template provider regarding this issues and hopefully this issues will be sorted out soon. I've checked the /media/com_hikashop/upload/thumbnail_261x300 folder and it doesn't even exists on my server. I've got thumbnail_100x100 and thumbnail_315x300 but no thumbnail_261x300. Looked for an option to redefine the path of the checkout page thumbnails but couldn't find such an option in HikaShop back end. Can it be done manually?

Thank you for your support.

Guy.

Hi,

Thanks to give us a screenshot of your image settings in HikaShop.
You should not have to redefine the path, based on the configuration the path must be correct, if it's not so it's potentially due to a folder permission which don't allow to create the correct folder and generate files inside.

Hi Xavier,

I really don't think it's a folder permission related issue. The Upload folder is set to 755 and I do have many thumbnails but they are located in other folders like thumbnail_100x100 and thumbnail_315x300.

In my opinion the solution should be a way to define thumbnail_100x100 as the default source folder for the thumbs.

Just to be clear, I've attached a screen shot of the missing thumbnails I'm talking about. Please notice in the second sample that after I've changed the folder path to 100_100 using Chrome console the thumbnail showed up. Now I need to find a way to permanently make this change.

Thank you,

Guy.

Hi,

Please provide a screenshot of your images setting in the HikaShop configuration.
I guess that if you set the image thumbnail size to 100 x 100 you should have no more this issue.

Hi,

Please see attached screen shot as you've requested.
Correct me if I'm wring but this settings effect the product page image thumbs and have nothing to do with the checkout page product thumbnail. So why changing anything here?

Hi,

No this setting is the same one for the product page, the listings and in the checkout page.
If you want to force the path for the thumbnails in the checkout, you can edit the view "checkout / cart" and edit the image dimensions in the PHP variables.
