My client asked me to make the checkout look like the screenshot example I attached below.
It has essentially a Login form to the left, which we know it's the way it works already but on the right all they want is a button saying "create an account" to go to the registration page.
My client was unable to make a business case for such a display, but if it is at all possible to make this happen I'll be happy to do it. It's not like I have not seen this before but I am a believer in streamlining the process, not add barriers to it. This is to me an extra, unnecessary step.
Regardless, is it possible to modify the checkout flow in this manner?
How involved is it and will it have any reprecussion as far as future updates to the shop?
