-- url of the page with the problem -- : www.coloidale.ro
-- HikaShop version -- : 2.3.3
-- Joomla version -- : 3.3.4
-- PHP version -- : 5.3.29
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : all

Even if I am setting the registration like "guest" (so no registration, only adress input), the system don't allow to customers to use an adress wich is already an user adress. The Joomla login module is also off, but they are some previous users registered. So, because no login is possible in frontend, I can't even send test orders with the administrator's e-mail adress included in the adress area. Would be this problem from Hika, or Joomla?

Hi,

Indeed in guest mode, you can't use already registered email address.
This come from HikaShop, so for the tests thanks to use another address.

Else it will require some code edition to be able to use already registered addresses.

That means that I need to erase all previously erased users! I am workng in guest mode because they are many clients wich forget their pasword, or username, and I prefer to not need registration at all. So if you have another solution beside that of erasing all users, I would be grateful.

However, I must note that this behaviour is a recent addition (don't know how recent however), because I used to test the shop with registered adresses, without a login, at the time when the joomla login module was active. If Iam wrong, please correct me. I will not comment about the necesity of this, but a guest should be a guest no matter what, isn't it?

Ok, I tried the hard way.

I erased all users from Joomla, except the few needed for administration purpose.

But then It appeared another problem, about wich I was not aware: all users from HikaShop, wich has orders attached were not erased! Ok again, I can understand this. I went to HikaShop and erased all orders, for erasing the users. Now, I have users only in HikaShop, I mean I haven't in Joomla too, and in HikaShop I can't erase them! I have no button for this, none!

So I erased users from Joomla for nothing, because I can't do it anymore now.

However, now I realize that volens nolens, I need to have orders in the memory of HikaShop, but I need also to work in guest mode with the posibility to use the same e-mail without login. I mean to be a real guest mode, how it used to be for some time!

It is very difficult to do this?

You don't need to delete the orders, you probably want to keep them.
But you'll have to delete the joomla users and the hikashop users if you want them to use their email address in guest mode without having to login.
Normally, you configure the guest mode at the beginning, before puting your website live and thus you don't have any users and people will be able to use their email address as much as they want in guest mode.

So to delete your users, delete them in Joomla like you did and then go in your phpmyadmin and empty the hikashop_user table.
Make sure that the "auto increment" value of the hikashop_user table is not reset (that it is still the value of the user_id of the last user your had).
Then it should work.
