-- url of the page with the problem -- : www.staaltest.nl/acces
-- HikaShop version -- : 2.3.3
-- Joomla version -- : 3.3.4
-- PHP version -- : 5.3.29
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : Firefox

Hi,

I use the advanced datepicker to use an extra field in the checkout workflow.
But the date in the e-mail for the customer stays 01-01-1970 instead of the date that was picked with the datepicker.
See screenshots.

Could somebody give a solution?

Hi,

What do you see when you edit the order in the HikaShop backend ?
You should have the order custom field in the section "Additional information".
You can also generate a preview of the email using the button "e-mail" in the toolbar.

I made a test in my local websites and when the order custom field is filled, I see correctly the value in the generated email (using the backend "e-mail" button).

I've been playing with the datepicker options, it works now.
Thanks!

What options did you change? I'm having a similar problem. When the user accepts the default value, a different date displays on the invoice. When the user actively selects a date, the selected date shows correctly on the invoice. In the order-admin area the incorrect date shows in the first instance but when we open the details screen it shows the correct (default) date. The default is today plus 1 day. The value displaying in invoices etc is 26-10-2014

Solved. I had chosen "inline no" and this doesn't save default dates for some reason. Switched to "inline yes" and all good.
