Abandoned Cart Options

-- HikaShop version -- : 2.3.4
-- Joomla version -- : 2.5.27
-- PHP version -- : 5.3.28
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : Chrome

Can we change the message in the generated email if someone orders, but @ the PayPal page...they cancel?
Can we eliminate the generated email for orders not paid for by guests?

What are our options for abandoned carts?

Hi,

No we are not able to change the message sent by PayPal.
If it's the HikaShop order status notification email, yes you can edit it via the menu System > Emails (business edition) or via FTP.

It will require php checks on the order status and the user to send or not the mail, and edit the message.

What are you expecting ? Thanks to our integration with AcyMailing, you can send emails to abandoned cart owners.

I wanted to know if we can stop the email from even being sent to the person who abandoned the order.

I'm okay with an email being generated to those that complete an order telling them their order is complete and giving them the link to their products.

Also, if we can't get rid of the email, can we do the following:
1. Say that their order was not completed
2. If they'd like to order the product to visit the shop again.

Hi,

You can do such feature using the integration with Acymailing.
Thanks to Acymailing it's possible to create automatic message following specific rules (like an order not completed after X hours or X days).
