No Guest Checkout?

Getting the message "You cannot proceed to a guest checkout as some of the products in your cart require a registration to our website. Please register an account or remove these products from your cart in order to proceed."

Can our customers buy without registering?

I think i have figured something out. If i go into JOOMLA USERS MANAGER, ---- OPTIONS, and turn off the email activation option, then it allows the hikashop customers to enter their email address, and regular address, without having to go thru the activation step.

Our customers want to purchase immediately, after entering their info. They do not want to check their inbox for an activation link. This is a way to eliminate that step.

I love hikashop except the checkout area is not very well designed for the end customer, it is not very intuitive and the interface looks like a programmer designed it. For most web customers, the checkout interface should be very nice and friendly and with no roadblocks.

However, I understand, this is how many ecommerce applications are, they need further customization.

Regarding the checkout area, we have to rebuild it on our TODO list, so it should be more intuitive, and easily customizable.

Well, when you rebuild it, get rid of all the <table><tr><td> crap... as developers we can't do anything with the existing design without modifying the core code! It's really a bad checkout system.
