Hello there,

I have an issue with download links to be sent to customers after payment with Paypal. I made a test purchase (with a new user) but I am not getting the download links via email as required. I just get redirected to this link with no product download link :
soinsaunaturels.com/index.php?option=com...rder_id=4&Itemid=546

When I look in orders section, I see the message "order status does not permit downloads" for the purchased item. Why would the order not show the confirmed status to allow purchased file downloads?

Please help me getting this through, what am i missing ?

Hi,

Does the order right confirmed in your HikaShop backend order listing ?
The email "order status notification" is send to the customer when the order status is changed by a payment plugin ; if you do not receive the paypal IPN or you did not activate the option for the "payment notification" in your paypal configuration ; the order will stay with his "created" order status.
So if you want to send automatically the emails to the customer, the best is to check the paypal plugin notification.

The order point is that you can configure the order status where the download is available.
Which means that if the order status is not the right one (according to your configuration), the email won't contain the download links.

So please check your configuration and provide us more details about your issue.

Sorry to trouble you. I am a newbie. Just installed Hika. Entered a downloadable File. Add a product tag to a content page. Add To Cart. Paid with Paypal.

Then it returned me to a "thank you" page, which contains no download information.

And no email sent with download link. (I have enabled Paypal Plug In as per your suggestion.)

What else I missed. Thank you.

Hi,

The thank you page does not provide any link.
The links are displayed in the front-end order listing (in the user control panel) or in the email.
Like I said in my previous message, the order has to be confirmed if you want to have access to the download links ; so you have to be sure that Paypal is right confirming the order (you can check the "paypal issues" documentation for more details).
