I'm using the Authorize.net plugin for credit card payments. It all worked great before the weekend but now when I click "Proceed to checkout" everything loads except the fields to enter credit card number, expiration date, and security code. In addition, if someone is already a member of the website the system will continue to checkout without requiring missing contact information. I've tried to retrace my steps to see if something I installed on the site may be conflicting but I've disabled what I can and the problem is still there.

I've duplicated the problem on Chrome, Safari, and Firefox Development Edition.

I disabled the original Authorize.net plugin and created a new one and the credit card fields are now showing up correctly. I also found that using the SIM method seems to be the culprit so I use AIM since my site is secure.

I'm still grappling with the customer information not showing up but that may be a permissions issue.

Hi,

1. In SIM mode, the credit card form will show up after the checkout on the authorize.net hosted payment page.
So yes, you need to use the AIM mode if you want to have the credit card form on your website's checkout.

2. If you're already logged in, the registration form of the "login" view of the checkout workflow won't display.
However, the address form will display if you didn't already entered an address for your user account and if you didn't remove the "address" view from the checkout workflow. The checkout workflow is an option of the Checkout tab of the HikaShop configuration.
So I would recommend to check on that.

Thank you. I'll try the AIM mode next time around. SIM mode is working with the exception of a few customers. About 10% of orders on the site are simply returned to the Checkout page when they click "Finish". No action takes place and no warning is displayed. It's very confusing for them as they think they may have paced an order and they didn't.

Hi,

I don't see why they would be redirected somewhere else. The authorize.net plugin in SIM mode will always redirect to the URL that you configured in the options of the authorize.net payment method ( secure.authorize.net/gateway/transact.dll by default ).
Are you able to reproduce the problem yourself ?
Try to ask more information on what the customers did when they got the problem. There must be a way to reproduce the problem 100% of the time.

This is still happening with some customers but it may be a bank issue. I'll post if I figure out how to duplicate or find a solution.
