Delivery Charge

Hi,

I would like to add a delivery charge at the time of checkout if the total cost of the purchase exceeds a pre determined amount. Please advise how this can be done. I have installed HikaMarket as well

You'll just have to create a new manual shipping method via "Hikashop->System->Shipping methods" and use the "Minimum/Maximum price" options through the "Restrictions" tab of your shipping configuration page.

By default no, there is no such options.
But with some code everything is possible

I tried and experienced a small problem with the delivery.
Though I set the maximum price for delivery to be $250, the system still charges delivery for orders that cost more than $250.

the two items are bags for children and the items are shippable.
Also, could I check if the solution would be different if the items are not shippable?

Can you test it with the "Auto select default shipping and payment methods" option set to YES via "Hikashop->System->Configuration->Checkout".

I have checked and it has already been set to yes. I also set the products to a mix of shippable and non- shippable.
I still do not see the differentiation.

I just tested it with 3 Deuter Bag - Junior Series: Blue (195 SGD) product and the shipping method was correctly displayed, but if I raise the quantity to 4 (260 SGD) I'm correctly having a "The total of your order is too high for all the possible shipping methods" error message.
Also, note that I have added the "shipping" action on the first step of your checkout workflow via "Hikashop->System->Cnofiguration->Checkout".
