Product URL in shopping cart

Having a linking issue in the checkout.

I've created a checkout page in the hidden menu -> forced that menu item on the checkout (with alias cart) so now checkout has URL cart/checkout. This is good!

However, when I hover over a product that is in the cart the link is: /component/hikashop/productname (clicking this then takes me to the product however without the category in the breadcrumb)

How do I fix the product link so that it is the correct URL - the URL that is seen in the shop with the category? IE. A product from category Banana should have the URL /banana/productname NOT component/hikashop/product name

EDIT: I've also tried adding a Checkout Menu type to my main menu and clicking that - still same URL for each product...

OK - so I have a work around - using canonical URL if specified - and just setting the products URL properly there (based on the hikashop menu categories).

Still not sure why I would need to do this as I have the site structure properly set up.

Shouldn't the product URL in the cart be where the product is listed? IE. category/name

component/hikashop is a default menu in HikaShop, using the canonical url is the best solution, you can find more settings about that in Configuration > Features > SEF.
There is an option to generate automatically the canonical urls.
