-- url of the page with the problem -- : www.schuurpapierxl.nl/
-- HikaShop version -- : 2.3.4
-- Joomla version -- : 2.5.28
-- PHP version -- : 5.5.19
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : IE all
-- Error-message(debug-mod must be tuned on) -- : Cart empty

When a customer add something to it's cart, the cart will be deleted if you go to another category or menu-option.

www.schuurpapierxl.nl/

This is only in IE.

You can test it quite easily yourself!

Hello Jan,
I just tested it with my IE and it worked fine, can you clear your browser cache and test it again ? if you still have the issue can you give me step by step instructions to reproduce your issue ?

It's unpredictable!

So now and then it's working and form one on the other moment the cart is empty.

We are surfing over the site. From one category to the other, ordering something here and something there. And then: cart empty!

It's not only IE, Chrome also!

Hi,

Your website is using HTTPS.
but you have some links with HTTP in your website, specially the sub menus.
When you open a HTTP page, the session is lost (I guess due to your session configuration) and the user is redirected to the HTTPS version of the page.

The result is that, your previous session is lost and the server create you a new session.. with an empty cart.
