FREE product option creates Notice message...

The product 3 Way Feature for Work-FlashLight is not available

I have a product at:

to which I recently re-added an option:
3 Way Feature for Work-FlashLight [Yes or No]

It is a 'free' option - just Yes or No.

IF I don't give it a price of $ 0.01 [a penny], I get the error:

Right now to get 'around' this issue, I had to create automatic coupon for $0.01 but it is confusing users [and also the coupons aren't always working perfectly as they should but that's another issue altogether] and about 25% of them who are expecting it for free are dropping out of the purchasing process because they think we are charging them the penny

I'd love to see this fixed for 2.3.6 along with the upcoming Guest Checkout Default feature capability

That is a strange issue, you should be able to add option without price.
I just tried on my end and no problems.

Could you try to enable the option "Display 'add to cart' button for free products" in Configuration > Main > Product ?

ps: in HikaShop version you entered 2.3.4, if it your current version you can update to 2.3.5

Yes that seems to have fixed it even though it was definitely 'not' obvious that I would need to do turn that on
