The 2.time a anonymous shop, an errro : user exist

-- HikaShop version -- : HikaShop Essential: 2.3.5
-- Joomla version -- : 3.3.6
-- PHP version -- : 5.3.29
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : FF 35
-- Error-message(debug-mod must be tuned on) -- : Hi.
when a anonymous byer is comming back, and insert the mail, firstname, lastname etc.
Then the shop says..
'Error
Email address already used'
in backend, i have set all that i can, then all can shop without loging ind.

What can i try ?

I doubt that you have that problem.
It's probably that there is already a user account on your website for the email address you're using in your test.

Yes.. You're right.
I found the user in Joomla, but he have to be there, because i write newsletter, and if I delete him under Joomla, he can shop a lot, but he doesn't get any newsletter ??
Is that right ??

Hi,

It depends on the newsletter system you're using.
Some newsletter system have their own user list system which does not require to create a Joomla account.

HikaShop does not authorize the guest checkout for existing user for several reasons;
- it allows you to "block" some specific (unwanted) emails
- it forces users who already have an account to log with them

Ok.
Have deleted the costumer, that is registered both ways, and when i send newsletter, i can import til Acymail, from Hikashop, and then i have 2 listes... :-(
But it´s a little anoing, because, if a allready member, is convinced to buy, they cannot, because there already in the lists, and then the user cannot buy anything...

There must be an other way ??

Hi,

I am sorry but I don't understand your new issue.
Acymailing handle perfectly the HikaShop users and can also have his own user list (which are not Joomla account).
And when Acymailing send a newsletter, it can detect email duplication to not send twice an email to the same email.

But for the rest, you should contact the Acymailing team for more details.

In HikaShop the process is simple ; if you have a Joomla account, you can't guest checkout with that email.
So, just to not use fake Joomla account for your newsletter and use the internal user system in Acy.

Ok.
I got it.
Its 2 different system, that cannot see each other.
Then i import all my Joomla users to Acymailing, in a list called 'list jan 2015' and after that, I can delete them all (from Joomla) they still be in Acymailer.. Right. ?
And when I send newsletters, I can send to this list, and make a new acymailing list that's called 'from hikashop' and import (new) to this list, before I sent to this lists.. and everybody is happy :-)

Do I have it ??
