empty cart

I want to completely remove the cart if it is empty. I tried overriding the language file to contain empty quotes, but it didn't do anything.
This was not an issue before I upgraded from the previous version.

Hi,

You can change the translation for the key "CART_EMPTY" in order to put an empty string.

I did that.
CART_EMPTY=""

It doesn't change anything.

Hi,

We didn't change anything with the new version on that end.
Try to add a space between the double quotes. Or maybe you have an error in your translation/override file.
Turn on the "debug language" option of the Joomla configuration and look at the debug data at the bottom of the page. It should list the issues in each translation file.

I tried with a space in the language file, no luck.
I turned on language debug, there were no errors.

Finally in the hikashop cart plugin I put a space in Empty cart message override and that worked.

Wierd.
