-- HikaShop version -- : Essential 2.3.5
-- Joomla version -- : 3.3.6
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : Chrome, Firefox

I just updated my site to Joomla 3 today. The template had to be updated to a 3.0 template, but otherwise the template has not changed. The switcher was working in the Joomla 2.5 version, and now today it doesn't work. When I try it, it looks like it's switching back and forth, but the form doesn't change.

Any help greatly appreciated!

Hi,

You're using a Javascript lib to display the radio buttons with another design ; this library does not work properly with the structure and the radio does not receive the "checked" status.
Due to that non modification, the javascript of the radio is not called so the switcher is not switching.

Hi Jerome,

Thanks for the tip! When you say I'm using a Javascript lib with "another design" - do you mean my template or a component that's installed? Does this relate to mootools errors from my J2.5 to 3.0 migration? If you could give me a little more detail on what I should be hunting for to disable, that would be very helpful. Thank you!

Hi,

It's probably your template which is doing that. There is probably an option in its configuration to turn that styling off (or maybe it's one of the plugins included in the template which needs to be disabled to turn that off).

Thank you! I managed to track it down to the Rockettheme template's Inline Styling. Once I disabled that, the buttons worked fine. Thanks again!

Hi Tandreas6,

I have the same issue with Rockettheme, or gantry framework to be specific. Can you point me where I need to be looking to disable the inline styling.

Thanks

Hi,

I would recommend to contact your template's support so that they can tell you precisely. But maybe Tandreas6 will be able to tell you before they answer you.

Sorted. It's because HikaShop doesn't play nicely with Bootstrap3.

Any plans to address this issue?
